corporate ‘best places to work.’ Our humble travel nurse and allied healthcare recruiting
agency, was founded in 2010 by three fellas wanting to have a more personal touch
on the clients they work for, and the employees they hire to work with. They saw
a disconnect in the bigger healthcare placement firms, and took that as an opportunity
to fill that void. Very true that the industry (and healthcare in general) is constantly
changing, but we don’t believe that how we partner with our healthcare professionals,
or interact with our internal staff, should. Regardless of how big we may get, our
main focus is to remember who makes this all work. That’s our employees, whether
nurses or internal. Our core principles about customer service, dedication, hard
work, and still always making it fun while doing it all, will never change. At the
end of the day, we are a (customer) service company, we just make it fun because
of the exceptional talent and sparkling souls we seek out and hire.
OUR PEOPLE & CULTURE
OneStaff Medical has recently exploded its team to over 120 driven and passionate
employees, and have no intention of slowing that pace down anytime soon, while keeping
the quality of our partnerships up. That pace has also created the need for change.
So we started by moving into our very own, brand new, mothership building, smack-dab
in the middle of Omaha, NE., in the summer of 2017. A city known for its succulent
steaks, hosting the spectacular College World Series and breeding humans of the
strongest-caliber Midwestern work ethic. (a few famous people that are poster children
of that work ethic, being stand outs in their own respective fields; Fred Astaire,
Warren Buffet, Marlon Brando and the ‘King of Hustle/Grind,’ the current World Champion
Lightweight Boxer, Terence Crawford, to name a few). We're proud to have an evolving
team environment where hard work is rewarded, and ‘work hard/play hard’ is truly
part of our 9-5pm, not just something we preach about. We listen to our employees,
take the feedback and keep evolving what we can do to make this place their ideal
work environment. Culture is key. We want our team to be blessed with the perks
of the big national companies, like; a company store, random locally catered-in
lunches, break rooms with fountain soda (maybe a kegerator, but we’ll plead the
5th there), ping pong, pool tables, and a gaming lounge, but still keep the flexibility
and lack of red-tape, like the privately-owned, start-up company we are. That’s
what makes us special, we are small enough to be nimble, and adjust as needed on
the fly, but established enough to give our clients what they need/expect, and be
exceptional at that while doing it. Like one of our unique rewards perks, ITO (‘incentive
time off,’ as an extra show of appreciation for success in goals or achievements).
