4 WATERSLIDES YOU MUST VISIT DURING YOUR TRAVEL ADVENTURES

Think waterslides are just child’s play? We think not.

In fact, it seems like waterslides have gotten bigger and badder as the years have gone by. These days amusement parks all around the country have waterslides that feel like roller coasters. If you’re a fan of thrills, here’s our list of waterslides you must try out during your travel excursions.

* Cliffhanger/F5 Twin Twisters. Located in Galveston, Texas, these slides allow for two riders to race down separate slides, going around each other over and over again in a slide configuration that resembles a hair braid. Inside the slides are completely dark, a creepy experience you’ll be thinking about all the way to the top of the 81-foot tower.

* Summit Plummet. Located at Walt Disney World’s Blizzard Beach, Summit Plummet will have you flying 60 mph down the slide and screaming after a drop of nearly 90 degrees. But don’t worry, you can look over the edge before you go, which could be part of the torture. This is a fan favorite to be sure, and when you mix it with the rest of Disney World, it’s a must do.

* Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark. We’re back in Texas again for the Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark in Grand Prairie, Texas, most famously known for its Lasso Loop AquaLoop slide. Built on a 45-degree angle, the translucent tubes allow you to see everything going on around you as you shoot through the slide. Similar AquaLoops exist in other parts of the country as well, but the indoor facility in Grand Prairie means you can enjoy this adrenaline rush any time of the year.

* Dolphin Plunge. This one is a little bit different because Dolphin Plunge isn't known for its terrifying speed or ludicrous heights. It's a very conventional waterslide with one important aspect. This twin slide, located at SeaWorld Orlando, actually takes you underwater as you slide along, and when the tube goes clear, you'll have the chance to be right up close with the dolphins who will swim along or over your slide. It's the perfect slide for those who love animals and water parks.
