GOTTA HAVE HEART | FEBRUARY IS AMERICAN HEART MONTH.
Did you know 1 in 4 deaths are caused by heart disease? This makes heart disease more deadly than all of the cancers combined. That’s no bueno, and yet we can actually do something about it. So let’s do it…anything you can do to help! Simple things, like what we eat/drink. Uh hum, coffee, chocolate, wine...that enough to get your attention? Not to kick you off your cloud, we're still talking moderation, but just being aware of foods that can help could mean the difference between you living out yours days healthy/happy and an ER visit. So take heed, friends. Take a minute to ponder what you can do for your health. You could just be someone's Valentine out there this month, so let's make sure your heart is up for the challenge!
There are all kinds of valuable resources out there on the “interwebs” today to help us combat heart disease. From pledges to be more physically active, with information to help guide you, to the various orgs out there devoted to helping make change.
