SURPRISING TRAVEL LOCATIONS: 3 HIDDEN GEMS YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS

When you think of traveling, you think of sitting by the ocean with your toes in the sand, right? Sure, there’s a lot of fun to be had on the coasts of this amazing country, and there are plenty of travel opportunities in those areas. But you know what? There are plenty of travel opportunities inland as well. If you resign yourself to coast-only options, you’re going to miss out on the sights and attractions these other states have to offer.

Today we’re going to look at three states that may not be at the top of your travel bucket list but dig a little deeper. Once you learn more about what you can do and enjoy in these areas, we’re sure you’ll see that an assignment to any one of them is worth it.

  •  TENNESSEE. There is perhaps no state with a stronger musical heritage than Tennessee. Nashville is a country music haven and site of the genre's hall of fame, and Graceland is still home of the king. The bridge paths of Reelfoot Lake State Park are like nothing you’ve ever seen, and of course, who could turn down that delicious southern cooking the state is known for?
  • SOUTH DAKOTA. Mount Rushmore and the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally are national draws, but there are plenty of other reasons to visit South Dakota. Badlands National Park and Black Hills National Forest offer breathtaking beauty, and a cave walk is truly awe-inspiring, provided you’re not claustrophobic.
  • NORTH DAKOTA. Not to be outdone by its southern neighbor, North Dakota boasts many natural draws as well. From camping in Jamestown to enjoying the natural beauty of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy in North Dakota. And if you like your entertainment man-made, Fargo itself and its Air Museum offer plenty of options to keep any traveler busy throughout their stay.

So there you have it. You wanted to learn more about these three states and we've delivered. Now we want to hear more from you. What else would you like to see presented in this blog? Hit us up and let us know.  We aren't writing these for us! We want to get our friends the information they want!
